Charlie – My Story

Early Years

Over 5 years service in the repair/service industry, troubleshooting and repairing various office equipment, from typewriters to copiers, from to word processors to computers. Sold and maintained customer and military service contracts as well establishing and maintaining a spare parts inventory.

Military Service

4 years active and 4 inactive reserve, served in the USAF during Desert Storm, troubleshooting and maintaining weapons release systems on a nuclear certified aircraft as a non-commissioned officer. Honorably discharged in 1995.

College Education

Earned a business administration degree at a Jesuit College, minoring in marketing. While in college, served America’s largest automotive retailer as trainer of managers as the company entered the Colorado Springs market and after graduation served in the World’s largest retailer as a manager of various departments for over 10 years.

Property Management 

Owned and managed multiple size rental properties, separate home and farmland owner. Experienced with various electrical and hand tools doing land management, wood and metal working, electrical and plumbing repair. Bought and sold properties and managed rental business collections and expenses for over 8 years.

Later Years

For 20 plus years, served in manufacturing for the Global leader in the manufacture of roofing and insulation products to serving the Largest privately owned industry leading supplier of fuel delivery components, emissions control products, engine sensors, ignition products that provide Worldwide OEM and automotive aftermarkets. Held positions from product line worker, quality inspector and calibration specialist, R&D lab technician , product and process quality engineer to key management staff member training management, quality professionals  and internal auditing teams on various ISO and industry specific quality management systems.

Qualifications & Awards

Service awards and industry recognized training troubleshooting and repairing on various industry equipment. Training to manage USAF nuclear fighter aircraft, awards for active participation in Desert Storm and reserve activities. Graduated with a degree from a prestigious Jesuit College with an emphasis on business and marketing. Lastly various specialized variation reduction and international standards training and industry specific requirements.
